Ruth holds BS-Ed and MS-Ed – Reading Specialist degrees. After completing her career as an elementary teacher, K-12 reading/math instructor and technology coordinator in local school districts, she became a member of Jackie’s firm in 2006 and now meets with clients and prepares taxes at Jackie’s Highland branch office.

Chaela joined Jackie in 2005 assisting in administrative, accounting and technology services at the St. Joseph office. Prior to joining Jackie, she served as Project Manager for the State Lunch Program for the local school district, Executive Assistant/Accountant for a local manufacturing firm and full-time at home mom. She enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking the mountains and National Parks. Chaela and her husband, Rick, reside in St. Joseph with their dog, Shadow and Binx, the cat.

It was during a 9th grade bookkeeping class that Tiffany discovered her interest in accounting. After pursuing it through high school and college, she audited governmental agencies for five years, then went on to work for various non-profit organizations in both accounting and human resources. She joined Jackie’s office in 2009 and lives in Platte City with her husband, two sons and two exuberant dogs.

Emily earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2001 and her MBA from Utah State in 2004. She worked in Utah at the Utah State Tax Commission as an individual and corporate tax auditor and she worked for a CPA helping to prepare taxes and do payroll taxes before moving to Missouri. She joined Jackie Watts’s office where she continues to help prepare income and payroll tax returns. Emily lives in Kearney, MO, with her husband, Dan, and their 5 children. In her spare time, she works with her husband to grow their Apple watch band company, Dot Outfitters, and enjoys watching her kids in their various activities.

Anna received her BSBA in Business Accounting from Missouri Western State University in 2014. She has been working full time for Jackie since 2014 and received her Enrolled Agent certification in 2019. She grew up in, and currently lives in, St. Joseph and loves spending time with friends and her family, going on road trips, and hiking as much as possible during the summer. She also loves being a member and participating in activities at her home church CrossPointe Community. She is thankful for being a part of Jackie’s team for the last 8 years and for the Lord’s mercy in redeeming her and adopting her as His child. “The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” – Psalm 103:8

Christy earned her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Missouri Western State University in 2020. She recently earned her MBA from MWSU in 2021. She has enjoyed working for Jackie a little over a year now and plans to pursue getting her CPA. She grew up in, and currently resides in, St. Joseph. She is passionate about animals and has two dogs Jax and Rocky. In her free time she enjoys getting involved in her church community at Wellspring, reading, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family.
